Keene State College, Zorn Dining Commons

The light-filled Commons has transformed the College's only dining hall into a social hub, providing a variety of dining options in an informal setting. The Commons offers a mix of seating, from tables to counters and banquettes, and wireless access throughout. The dining space, filled with light from a two-story glass curtain wall, seats 620 on the first floor and a further 280 on the second. Students can order freshly prepared meals at the servery's seven food service stations. A separate faculty and staff dining room has its own servery. To accommodate the small building footprint, the production kitchen, which handles all campus-wide catering, is located on the second floor. The main floor has a moveable partition so that a space seating up to 400, with a separate entrance, can be created to host outside functions.
