Within the Partners Healthcare network, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) are developing this suburban 120,000 s.f. Ambulatory Care Center and 80,000 s.f. Medical Office Building. The Center will relocate the existing NSMC Cancer Center and create a new Ambulatory Surgery Center, as well as a home for Imaging and Cardiology Services.

The buildings are arranged around a central lobby, creating public space and a sense of one integrated Center. All departments are designed for expansion while allowing for future flexibility within the footprint. Taking advantage of the surrounding site, which connects to the adjacent salt marsh and river, a central lobby and cafe will offer views to the river and access to a roof terrace. A variety of infusion bays are located along the perimeter of the building, as are prep-recovery and surgery waiting areas, allowing for view of the surrounding natural spaces.
